About the left side saddle bag cover-1999 Venture

The 2 plastic brackets which hold each of the 2 closing and locking devices for the saddlebag cover have broken some time ago. Repair is nearly impossible. Has anyone ever successfully repaired these brackets or does anyone have a left saddlebag cover for sale?
