If the bike looks brand new, and IF, BIG IF, it is in good mechanical and electrical shape, then it is worth it.

There is plenty of other bikes available for hundreds of dollars less, but by the time you finish fixing all the problems with them, you end up spending more and with a lot of agravation to boot.
