My first and present bike is a 1997, 750 Virago. I want to look at the air filter but cannot determine how to get to it. There is a large oval chrome cover. In the center a small oval grate. Also a rubber gasket around the outside. Also two bolts holding this chrome housing to the bike. Removing the bolts did not work. The small grate seems to glued in place and I don´t want to disturb/pry on that. The gasket seems to be where the chrome cover will off...but how. Pry, pull, loosen??? Please email if you can help.
