I happpen to now have the same animal, here in Canada! Interesting. I wonder if they were 85s sold with an 84 motor (Stylistically this seems the most likely, looks just like an 85 xv700) or was this simply a group of 84s that never left the factory? The former seems the most likely, but we may never know. So now to figure out if we order the 85 xv700 cables, filters and wiring components, or the 84 750s version of same? Hmmm... local M-C salvage shop looks like it is time to visit!
