Virago´s are known to be reliable bikes, and as a new rider (male, 5´7´´),
I find my ´96 XV535 to be a real gem. Powerful enough to cruise an interstate,
yet not enough to get in trouble. And she´s so pretty, too.
Been on it for just half a year now. No mechanical problems to date.
Just be careful: you may want a 750/1100 upgrade sooner than you think. :)
