don´t worry, be happy! it´s a common trait of these ´bikes and is nothing to concern yourself about. remember it´s a warning signal only of oil level(and you´ll find the fuel level warning light comes on the same with the ´bike on the stand) and should be read when the bike is vertical. mine (´93 XV1100 virago)does the same and the mechanics tell me it´s not a problem.
