I agree. I had a ZXR900 which I sold because my licence (and health?) were in jeopardy. I also wanted something that was accomodating for pillions and less head-down bum-up. My bike shop talked me into riding one. I was immediately impressed. It felt small and resonably agile. In fact, I preferred it to the GSX1400 which felt (and is) big and cumbersome. I have put low-rise handlebars on, and am working on improving the suspension (heavier springs and Race Tech stuff in front, Ohlins at rear) so I can attack the corners like I used to on the ZXR.
It has plenty of mid-range stomp for road riding although I would like a bit more snap when coming on the throttle. I may consider one of those ignition remapping devices if I can find one for this bike.
