I am considering using a 1995 Super Tenere for a trip across the Sahara and West Africa and then on to South America. Is there anyone out there who has done such a trip and who will be prepared to discuss the relative merits or draw backs of using this bike for this, or would I be better off using an XT 600 Tenere?
