Hi,

Bought my used XT 600 E from November 2000 a few weeks ago with 4500 kilometers on the spedometer. Surprisingly enough, it now
has 7600 kilometers on the spedometer. What a fantastic motorcycle.

I use it daily to negotiate the traffic jams in the Netherlands between The Hague and Nieuwegein (70 Km). I tour the countryside together with friends in the weekend. In cruise speeds up to 120 Km/h, the motorcycle is fairly comfortable.

The XT will be fitted with a Laser Produro exhaust in the coming days. I am also considering a GIWI wingrack to accomodate a couple of cases for the longer tours. I am heading up to Nordkap, Norway, and back to the Netherlands (7000 Km!) this coming July. It will be a purgatory for the XT, but I have no doubt that it will be able to complete this journey.

Last but not least, I am generally very satisfied with the motorcycle. I can´t get enough of riding on it!
