Hi fellas/Ladies I own a 1986 XT 600. When I bought the thing ,about three weeks ago it was in pretty rough shape, I don´t normally by a bike that is this rough, but something about the bike seemed to reach out to me (Probably the price.....I paid $300.00 for it) Since then I´ve put in quite a few hours repairing the things that were keeping it from starting/riding. And with the two new intake tubes that I ordered today I think I´ll have enough repaired to hear it run,It did sputter briefly before I bought it, as the old owner shot some starting fluid into the left carb to confirm that it would run/sputter. I´m going to need quite a few more parts if anyone here has or knows where I´ll find ´em. Yes, I´ve been keeping an eye on E-bay and on the other TT/XT site where I go by the same "handle" ...DaveR Most urgently I´m in need of a COMPLETE rear wheel in servicable shape (Gold Anodized) After this I´m needing a Bash Plate the one that fits under the motor. And then a replacement fuel tank. ........Can anyone help here ?? Thanks to all who answer this,....DaveR |
