I AM RESTORING A 1983 XT 550. IT HAD NO WIRING ON IT AT ALL.. I DO HAVE ALL PARTS TO GET IT GOING. DO I HAVE TO HAVE A BATTERY IN THE BIKE TO COMPLETE THE CICRUT? I HAVE THE BIKE WIRED UP OF A DIAGRAM I GOT. I DID TAKE OFF ALL LIGHTING. JUST NEED IT TO RUN... WHY CANT I GET SPARK?????????????????????????????????????????/ ANYTHING WILL HELP....
