Does anyone know if the front brake plate is the same as that used on the later (1980 onwards only) XT500. Are the forks the same as the post 1980 XT500 as well?
Please note that I mean 1980 onwards XT500 with the leading forks, not the 1976-1979 model with the spindle in line with the forks.
