I am in the process of restoring an 83 XT550, had the frame stripped and recoated, new bearings in swing arm, new mudguards. I found I had lots of bits missing as bike was bought as non-runner. I found most parts on EBay. One chap on there even copied graphics for the XT550 and sells them. Next is an engine rebuild, Ive been quoted £700.00!! so saving hard.
