If anyone is interested I have XT550 frame information stickers, with the E2 number on that was applied to these bikes when they were imported from Japan from new, and should be on the left hand side below the dipstick in front of the tank. I needed one for my bike but couldn´t get hold of one anywhere, so had to have a batch made up. I have put them on Ebay, if anyone is looking for the sticker.
