Hey,Jake . Whay´s up? You say your xt does 115 mph. Was it on a highway? Was everything stock on the bike? Or is your bike just a diamond in the rough?Sorry 4 all the questions, but I own a 1979 xt 500 also. She just turned 30, And still going strong. Had carb problems 4 a while, Well, we know how that goes. Everybody nows how 2 work on carbs.NOT!!!!!!!!!!. So , I learned the hard way, But it´s up & running now. (YYYYAAAA BBBBAAAABBBYYYY)Hope 2 hear from u. I know it´s been a while since u posted this article. Chat ata ya lata. S.M.
