Hey guys, i have a Yamaha XT250 1989 model and i picked it up from the bike wreckers. The suspension is nearly non existent, none of the electrical components work, eg lights, horn or taco. Some baffling has fallen out the exhaust and flat stick in 5th gear it reaches about 60km/h. The brakes do not work either. OBVIOUSLY i would love to get rid of it and get a wrf of ttr but due to financial restrictions i cannot. Instead i would like to get the beast working again. So if anyone has any suggestions for where i can purchase parts in australia or just any suggestions in general to fix it up it would be much appreciated. I think it needs to be re geared as well.
