for will obrien´s xt 250- it has a constant, steady, and loud knock from the top end. noise gets louder with increased RPM. it starts and runs fine, we have adjusted the valve clearance with no cure. we are afraid to run it this way because it just sounds wrong! what could this noise be? any ideas?
