Hey I have a 1983 Yamaha XT 250 3Y3, Its great only got 3000miles on the clock and has been kept inside. I bought a service manual.pdf and have been using it to find out information such as which oil ect, i also found a interesting diagram showing there is a spring underneath the drain for the engine oil and a possible filter ?? anyway when icame to empty out mine these parts are missing, has some one lost them or has it been removed on purpose ? should i be worried would be the main question :) any help much appreciated.
