85 Yamaha 250xt - front disc brake??

85 Yamaha 250xt - front disc brake??

My son is buying a Yamaha 250xt, 1985 stamped on the steering head vehicle I/D plate, but it has a front disc brake - not an expanding brake as in your specs.; also has mono-cross rear suspension - could it be a later model - or maybe modified; also, some models had single overhead cam and some double??
