I have just aquired what I believe is a 1986 Yamaha XT 250 - it resembles the picture on this site. I am looking for a manual if anyone has one. The bike stood for about a year after the previous owner died in an aircraft accident. His widow knows nothing about bikes. It was never registered or licensed. It is therefore not possible to esablish exactly what year or model it is. The guy trying to repair and get it going cannot work out why the carb overflow keeps leaking fuel and what is causng the engine difficulty in starting. Once it warms up it starts easily. Can anyone help with a service manual?
