I purchased this bike used recently. The sprockets and chain were bad so I had them replaced. It had a 15/48 and 428 chain. I put a 15/51 set on and didn´t like it. So I bought a 45T rear and it is better. After reading the mnl it stated the following transmission ratio: 1st/2.846, 2nd/1.813, 3rd/1.318, 4th/1.036, and 5th/0.821. With the 15/45 sprockets now I get a final ratio of 3.0. My question is if I went to a 16/48 sprockets (still a 3.0 final ratio) what kind of performance can I expect. Thanks for a reply.
