Over my head????

Well back in the day, I´ve owned several of the bikes, 750´s & 850´s, I now have an Aprilia and a Harley. Last night I´m hunting c/l and I see an 80, 850 midnight special, well I call the guy, his name is Jay, and he tells me the bike is in his Santa Monica hangar, and he bought the bike from the Petersen museum (static display for over ten years. I tell him if he delivers it, I´ll take it. I never expected to hear from him, well he sent his guy over with it. It´s very clean, and a can of wd-40 got several things working, right now the carb. linkage seems stuck closed. The bike has a tad over 8k on the odoeter, and except a for a little pitting here and there is in very good shape. It´ll be interesting to see if I can get this beast running. Came with a box of parts, including carb. kits. I hope I´m not over my head, but what the heck, I was looking for a project anyway, and this fits the bill...
