Those are very heavy bikes with a lot of their weight up high. Not only that but it´s pretty tall. Some of that can be fixed with shorter shocks and lower the forks (both internally and externally). You might be more happy with something like a Radian or Fazer or even an older FZR400/600. The FZR 400 is the lightest lowest bike they make and will outhandle and outperform the XS in every aspect. The 600´s even more so. The FZR is of course the sportbike. The Radians and Fazers are both nimble well built bikes with the Fazer as the faster of the two and water cooled. Both are standards (no fairings) and both are rare bikes so harder to find. Don´t let me turn you away from the XS but be aware they are a large heavy machine and anyone of shorter stature (man or woman) will have a harder time with them. Sean |
