I also had less then expected results when I rebuilt mine.

If set right they should flow free on PRI (prime), but ON should only flow with engine vacuum.

I just looked at the Yamaha parts diagram and remembered that it does not replace the vacuum diaphram and spring on the back side.

If your diaphram holds air then replace the spring with a stronger one. I just streched mine longer and it held fuel back afterward.
