Hi,
The problem with your caliper might be a colapsed brake line.
This tends to happen sometimes when things sit for a while. Go thru the line with your fingers and you should be able to find a weak spot. As for the lens, did you try J.C.Whitney? Or it might be a long shot but try Ebay. I fond a set of carbs for my 850 for about $70, they useualy go for around $200 each.
