I just bought a ´78 750 special it has been sitting for aprox 6years and wont start. I have cleaned the carbs changed the oil flushed the tank and replaced the battery. It turns over fine and seems to have good compression and spark. when cranked it fires on one or two cylinders but wont run or idle. Gas dumps out of the right side carb when I crank it over. When I hit the throttle it stops firing. Whats going on? anyone know? I am also looking for a right side exhast pipe and muffler and a start switch assembly.
