I have a 1979 yamaha dohc E and we are triing to fix it the guy we are fixing it for said they thought the shifter was broken but it shifts into first gear and into neutral and second gear but wont shift past that I have the bike apart and we cant figure out whats wrong with it anyone that might know whats wrong with it your help would be appriciated
