I owned one of these back in the late ´70´s. First thing is don´t buy the 1976 model. In 1977 the redline went up from 7500 to 9500 rpm, and power increased to a reasonable level. The 76 was a dog - a slow dog. Best points were smoothness and abundant torque. Freeway on-ramps were a blast. Worst points were a vibration band that corresponded to from about 55 to about 75 mph in top gear. Would kill your butt after awhile, and the shaft drive that jacked the back end up and down with the throttle while cornering.
