Sounds like you might have an air leak. You didn´t mention where the oil was dripping from. From the cylinder head? Valve cap?
You could do a leak down test to check for air leaks from the top end. Could also be a weak valve spring for that cylinder. Have a leak down test done. It could save you alot of time and frustration on finding the problem. Good luck. And for the vibs. Just a little.
