I just purchased a 81 650 xs from my brother in law. I got a great deal at $500. It was sitting in his garage for 10 years without ever being ridden.
We put in a new battery, put in new gas, cleaned the carb. and adj. the idle. It started up and runs fine. I have seen the same bike being sold on ebay for three times what I paid . This is my first bike so thats all the info I have right now. Good Luck
