Hey Tom. I just read your firdt message about your carbs being rebuilt and some wires that don´t look right. Its hard to say what your problem might be with out more information. I´m just going by what problems I had with my carbs running dry. I just got a set of 36mm hi flow carbs yesterday and I´m hoping that my problems will be solved. I´m still thinking you might have a carberator problem. One other thing comes to mind though. Maybe your CDI (black box)or even a coil. If on of these is the problem, its because its getting hot (inturnally) and shutting down your bike. After it cools off, the bike would start back up. Get a service manual. There worth every penny. Check out some web sights:http://www.mikesxs.com/ http://www.650central.com/ http://www.omarsdtr.com/index.htm http://www.650motorcycles.com/ These have more links that you can get info from. Happy hunting, jimi |
