I have a 79 XS 650 Special. It´s in pretty good condition w/30,000 miles on OD. Runs good but at a steady rpm I can hear a very high pitched tinny sound like metal on metal?? Chain is a bit slack right now so I´m wondering if that´s what it is? I checked valve clearances and I don´t think that´s the problem. Any help appreciated.
