The XS is my first bike and I LOVE it! Bought it two years ago with 10,250 miles, and I´m already at 23,650. It´s not quite stock, but I didn´t make the changes. It has chopped pipes, giving it a GREAT growl, which is also extremely helpful in traffic. The seat was customized, removing it´s awkwardness. The fuse box was removed [i´ve heard they were troublesome]. And it had a HD tombstone taillight, which looked really cool, but just wasn´t staying tight. I found an orignal taillight on a parts bike and had it replaced. I´ve had some problems with kick-starting and stalling, but overall it is a really sweet ride. It´s small and comfortable but has power and balance.
I highly recommend replacing the stock tires with Bridgestone´s Battlax, it made a HUGE difference in the handling.
