Hi: I don´t know where the air filter is and how to access it. Can you tell me please? I have a 1981 XS1100 Eleven Special with 36K. Also, the exhaust is fairly chewed up towards the end and the sound is pretty lame. Can I cut the exhaust? If so where do you suggest is best? I was going to cut like slash downs just in front of the passenger pegs.
