Can anyone tell me the diameter of the fork tubes, did they differ over the years, and the dimensions of the steering spindle? I´m thinking of fitting the front end of an 1100 onto an XS-650. The XS-750/850 has 36mm tubes and the spindle is the right diameter, bit is a little too short.
