hello: the bike you perchased dosent many problems at all it is very reliable. however the electricals are not weather proofed on this bike. the main problem that will occure is the terminals in the fuse box and on the battery. somtimes thare will be no sighns of corrostion other than just being dark in color. you may notice the starter wont kick in a few secons after a stall when the voltage is weakest thats your first sign. another sign is you turn signals may blink slowley or not blink at all when apliying the brake the circuts are tied into each other. to correct this problem i replaced the terminals holding the fuses, it fixed mine. but ather than that this model bike rell has no ather flaws just changed your oil every season. and id recoment once a year having your carburator tunes just to keep them in sync with each other. the air filter can be cleaned in soap and water. id do that every 6-10 thousand miles. always make sure have good brakes and tires. follow these things and be aware of the common electrical problem. but over all you wont have any truble |
