hello: i have had a similar problem. altho it never prevented my indacator light to cut-out. but any way the eletricals on this bike are not weather protected. they have problems with corrotion. now you were able to bypass the solinoid to start the bike so that tells you the igniton moudual works for the most part. you have probley lost your main wire bus from your ignition switch to you insturment cluster. the same circut that lights up your nutral light also tie in to your start button, clutch switch and the netran safty switch. i would trace the wireng from your ignition switch into your inturment cluster. and from your start button, and also clutch switch and netral safty switch all of these items are tied together and the feeds voltage for your ignition modual trace this circut you will find corrotion/shorted wire or a broken wire. any one of these items shorted will kill everything on the circut. repair any faults you see and the chances are you will fix your problem. |
