I have always loved this bike, I left school in 1982 and remember
a guy staying up the road having one and vowed that one day I would own one. Well time sure has passed, I did own a GPZ550 in the 80´s when I was in the navy but marrage and life goes on and the wishes become just memories. I am now interested in buying another bike and been searching the net and what pops up, a 1100 spl in good condition and at a good price (R14000, abt US$2200 for comparison)and the dream has been rekindled. Only problem the seller is abt 800km away. Need to convert your stats from Gal to Ltrs and mpg to km/ltr. Wish me luck, Cheers
