I purchased my 1980 XS1100G new for $3300.00. Love that bike! It´s still in my garage covered up. I´m 74 yrs old and it´s my dream to ride it again but will realistically never get it running again. That little problem of $$. But I will not give up my dream! Love the feeling of it lofting the front wheel power shifting 2nd gear! Loved the excellent fuel mileage for a big bike. one trip to Palm Springs with my wife on back netted 54 mpg for the weekend!
