| Just got this bike running that has been sitting for years. 10K miles in good shape. It starts right up but the warning light blinks. THe rotation on the indicator lights stops on the Fuel indicator. Am I on the right track thinking the fuel indicator is the problem? I did have to derust the tank and had the float assebly out. Soaked it in CLR. I read on the interent there is a rheostat in the float assembly that gets rusted up. I did not clean that. That is about my only thought right now. But I´m sure there are those that have more experience with this than I do. Thanks for any thoughts. |
