My name is Bud,living in the Netherlands,driving the XJR 1300.
The noisy gearbox is a typical XJR phenomenon,especially from neutral to 1st gear.I ask several XJR-owners about this,and they/we all suffer this same "little" detail.The gearbox is not working that slicky as,for example,the R1 or R6.The XJR-box is,to my opinion,more similar with BMW K-serie gearboxes.
