I just bought one of these things. Right now I am riding a 750 V45 Sabre Which is ok..I like the look of the Maxim. I pickd it up pretty cheap but the guy left it sit for a year with gas in it which is no real biggie. It´s got good Compression and spark. My suspicion is the filter screen in the petcock is prolly full of algae and maybe the carbs too. I worked all day and didn´t feel like puting much time into it. I am hoping it feels better on the turns than my Sabre. Same twisty road I have been riding for 30 years makes me nervous on this bike. Everyone I know that has/had a 750 seca and gone down at least once by giving it too much power in a turn, So how does the Maxim handle?
