First set #1 cylinder To TDC the timing indicator should be around the T mark. There is no way too adjust this but as long as its close it will work. Next slip the sprocket on the cam, loose with out bolts, and slip them on to the chain. put the caps on and rotate the cams so the dot lines up with the arrows. Fit the center guide, then fit and tighten the sprockets. turn crankshaft to C. Remove the bolt from the chain tensioner, if its an automatic, and push the plunger in. Then attach it to the engine and tighten the bolt. move the crank too the T and check the hole alignment. Also when fitting the valve cover gasket put some rtv sealent on the half moons, they will leak other wise. If you didnĀ“t replace the washers over the right most nuts they will leak oil too. They are the oil channels, I used some rtv and they sealed but I will replace soon. One other thing, while the engine is apart check your timing chain thats the first part that fails on these engines. If you need anything else just ask.
