I just bought an 82´or 83´ Yamaha Seca four cylinder 750cc motorcycle and am having a problem getting it registered,it was last registered in Tennessee years ago and was driven to California where it has been sitting in someones garage until recently when I bought it.I tried to register it at the California Department of Motor Vehicles but the VIN number stamped on the front yoke is partialy covered up with an aluminum foil type sticker,(simular to registration tags that go on liscense plates).The California Highway Patrol needs to check the VIN number before it can be registered but the sticker covering part of the VIN on the yoke is not supposed to be removed,(says on it,\
