I was out riding today when my 1982 XJ750 Seca got stuck in 1st gear comming off a light. I did not hear any problem downshifting as I came up to the light nor did I have any problem (no loud or even noticable clunck) as I took off. Now the bike is stuck in first gear and will not shift?

Can anybody help with the problem?
