First of all, as a purist, I prefer to purchase a battery that is "correct". They are out there on the ´Net, just look harder. I´ve found them. If that is not an option, take a look at http://home.netcom.com/~rvtucker/battwarn.htm. If you are electrically minded, there is a solution for you. Lastly, the flashing warning lamp (if the same as my Seca) will not affect the performance of the bike in any way other than annoy the dickens out of you while on the road. Hope this helps...
