I have an 81 Seca 750, my son-in-law has an 82 maxim 650. Both bikes exhibit the same symptoms. Will only run at full throttle and then lots of cutting out, backfiring. Both have had carbs cleaned - don´t think there is any vacuum leaks. Could it be ignitor?
