not sure about the breather tube, but the battery is simple stuff. Take off the plastic cover on the right side of the bike(if your sitting on it, your right side) the battery is held in place by a rubber strap. remove that.. the two terminals are held in by a philips screw, remove the negative first then the possitive, reinstall new one in the opposite order. walla
