Carb Cleaning

Recently purchased a 1981 xj650 maxim that had been sitting for 2 years. New battery installed and it cranks over great, got it to fire a few times too but it spits and coughs like hell. During warm-up, it begins to spit fuel back through the airbox and continue to leak down all over my driveway. oops.. Removed the carbs and began cleaning. all rubber parts were set aside (gaskets, diaphrams, etc.) i removed the jets from carbs 1,3 and 4, but #2 is stuck in the emulsion tube. its got a slot machined in it for a flat blade screwdriver but as i try to back it out it just spins the emulsion tube around and around. any tips or tricks to get this to break free? tried carb cleaner, brake clean, penetrating oil, even tried slipping a feeler gauge between to stop the tube from spinning. I am cautious not to mar up or score the emulsion tube from the inside, cant get a soft grip on the damn thing. Also, anyone know of a good parts site to order from for a carb kit? need 2 new float bowl gaskets as they are hard and brittle (and now chipped out of the assembly in many little black pieces) and i plan on replacing all 4. I´ve heard theres lots on ebay, but i like to look around.
