I have a yamaha XJ650 Maxim that will not start, and I am looking for any advice or ideas as to what to do to get it going. I bought last summer (07), when I bought it had been stiing for about 3 years. I had to replace the ignition coils and the stator (which was completly missing. The bike will trun over but, not start up. I have spark to all 4 plugs, and when I spray starting fluid into the cylinders the bike will back fire. I was told by one source that it could be the TCI box. But I´m wondering if it could be the carbs are plugged or if it could be a relay of some sort. I would be very greatful for any help anyone can provide. Thanks inadvance. Terry
